Oh, Memory ft. Mary Lattimore
Healing Is A Miracle
In Light ft. Jónsi
Wishing Well
Nod ft. Nosaj Thing

Julianna Barwick is a composer, vocalist and producer who crafts ethereal, sometimes wordless soundscapes, all of which are built around multiple loops and layers of her angelic voice. Over the past decade, she's honed an intuitive approach to experimental music, focusing on her vocals and improvisation. Her upcoming album “Healing is A Miracle” sees the exciting addition of three talented collaborators: Jónsi (Sigur Rós), Nosaj Thing and Mary Lattimore, who gently nudge her sound outside of her organically-evolved realm. (Con?dential)  Barwick's impressive live shows have gained incredible praise over the years on both sides of the pond, from the likes of The Guardian, The New York Times, NPR, Vice and more. She has also supported and performed with amazing artists like Bon Iver, Grouper, The War On Drugs, Sigur Ros, Sharon Van Etten, Flying Lotus, Angel Olsen, Mas Ysa, Nat Baldwin and more. She's taken her own music around the world performing visual concerts all over the US, UK, Europe and Australia and played on festival stages across the globe including Pitchfork Music Festival (FR), End Of The Road (UK), Green Man Festival (UK), Le Guess Who? (NL), Down The Rabbit Hole (NL), Adult Swim (US), Way Out Festival (SE), Moogfest (US), Sugar Mountain (AU) and more. In her career she's been involved in many headturning live collaborations. She took part in The Flaming Lips's Carnegie Hall show, performing music from their reimagining of “Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band”, alongside Phillip Glass, Debbie Harry, Laurie Anderson and Pattie Smith. She was invited to play with Yoko Ono at MoMA and in Central Park. NA and European touring is planned for late 2020/ 2021. (Con?dential). Barwick has garnered critical acclaim for each of her releases starting with 2011 debut the “The Magic Place” with reviews from Pitchfork (8.5 Best New Album), and an inclusion in Pitchfork's 200 Best Albums of the 2010s. “Nepenthe” followed in 2013 and immediately received outstanding reviews across the board from the likes of Drowned In Sound (9/10), The Quietus, The New York Times. The song "Nebula", from her third album “Will” premiered in 2016 on NPR and was “Pick Of The Week” on The Guardian. The album received support from Pitchfork (8.2) , The New York Times, NPR, Consequence Of Sound, Time Out (4*), The Verge, The Line of Best Fit, Resident Advisor (4/5), Stereogum, Exclaim! (9/10) and FADER.  Barwick's ethereal sounds match so naturally with the ever expanding DSPs' mood worlds. Her music has been featured across ambient, choral, electronica, sleep, studying and chilled playlisting; and has received DSP editorial placement in Spotify's The Most Beautiful Songs in the World (2M), Music For Concentration (1M), Stress Relief (705K), Daydreamer (589K), Butter (564K), Dreamy Vibes (532K), Songs For Sleeping (453K), Peaceful Indie Ambient (362K), Deep Listening (199K), Exospheres (74K), Late Night Synths And Strings (70K) as well as Pitchforks Top 100 Tracks of 2009 (#1/77) and more. Support has also come from Apple Music playlists Ambient Essentials, Sous-Vide Soundscapes, Experimental Chillout, Sun Bath by Apple Music Experimental. Beneath the Stars by Apple Music Indie. New Music Daily, Folktronica Essentials by Apple Music Dance and Deezer playlists Selected Ambient, Sleep Sequence, Ambient Classics, Meditation.  UK radio support came from 6Music, with plays from Recommends With Mary Anne Hobbs, Now Playing at 6 Music Ambient Special, Lauren Laverne, Gideon Coe, plus an interview on Freak Zone with Stuart Macone. In the US, support came from KEXP, NPR (All Things Considered, Tiny Desk), WNYC and KCRW to name a few. Barwick never shies away from exciting and interesting projects outside of her own material. She recently teamed up with Microsoft and Sister City—a NYC hotel —to create the ?rst-ever interactive lobby score. Inspired by Brian Eno's Ambient 1: Music for Airports, the result is an ever-changing score that is informed by its environment. She also teamed up with Doug Aitken on his nomadic art project, and created stunning performances in the Massachusett wilderness.
