After nearly giving up on the music business when his former band The Czars' albums failed to reach a wider audience, Grant was invited to tour with fellow Denton natives Midlake after they saw him perform solo. Coaxed into their studio, Midlake set about helping Grant record what would become his debut album 'Queen Of Denmark'. Produced and backed by the band, Grant delivers a set of seventies folk inspired songs while delving into his difficult background for lyrical inspiration.
